Kingston Police seeking individuals after ATM cash box theft

At the time of the theft, the ATM was open because it was being serviced and the cashbox was empty.

Kingston Police are searching for two individuals after an empty cashbox was stolen from an ATM earlier this month.

Police said in a news release that on Aug. 15 at about 10:40 p.m., two people were in the main lobby of a local hospital as an ATM was open and being serviced. They then stole the cash box from the ATM and left on foot. The cash box was empty.

Police did not say at which hospital the theft took place.

Police described the first individual as being white, and at the time of the theft they were wearing a black Quiksilver hat, a black-and-white Champion hoodie, black pants and black shoes.

They described the other as being white and about 25 to 35 years old. At the time, they were wearing a blue hat with the word “beauty” on it, a white long-sleeved T-shirt, red Adidas shorts with the number 6 on the left thigh and white running shoes.
